Regarding...Appreciated for your comment, MVW org.

Regarding point 3, I’ll never violate SL TOS, hence I won’t share the info I’ve got about this subject. Nevertheless, I can state - without a shadow of a doubt - that there are candidates that didn’t chose the country they wanted to represent. I may be harsh in my reviews, but I do not lie or write something that I’m not sure about.
Point 4 . Everybody knows that Carolina Herrera was born in Venezuela, as well as everybody knows that Frolic Mills is venezuelan, too. If you check Carolina Herrera’s brand, it says Carolina Herrera – New York . She has been living in New York since the 80’s. This doesn’t make Venezuela ‘fashionable’. Nough said!
Finally, I know how ladies were casted to MVW Pageant. I know that being a model was not a requirement. It’s up to each possible contestant that applies to have the good sense of chosing: do I want to be a model or do I want to be a ‘beauty queen’? Because, so many times, these two don’t go hand in hand.
More than thinking that this kind of pageant should be organized the closest to RL as possible, I think it’s important that everybody may look at such an event with trust; everybody has a favourite candidate; many people may call MVW unfair. It’s a pageant, this is a natural reaction, from those that have a particular preference. It’s my opinion that to avoid more extreme reactions, MVW would be organized closer to RL; every candidate should represent the country they come from. But then, again, this is my opinion. Obviously, I don’t care at all when a model is good, if she was MVW candidate or not. That means nothing to me and should mean nothing to all SL Model Agencies when it’s time to elaborate an assessment of a SL Model.

Again, your comment was much appreciated!Fifth Avenuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14979539614915459842noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5008018032563642425.post-14331238844741242712010-11-16T20:06:52.604-08:002010-11-16T20:06:52.604-08:00Hello fashion critique:
here is some information ...Hello fashion critique:

here is some information that either was missed or ignored at the time of your writing:

1) The best of sl indeed is just a name, but certainly isn't there to imply that we are the best of sl. It is there, very properly placed, because we write about the best designers and content creators in sl. There is a difference.

2) Our graphics are done by over 10 of the best graphic designers in SL. Is there a particular one you don't enjoy? Pls be more specific.
And again, BOSL does not mean, we have the best graphics in sl, it means the content of the magazine is filled with great content creation.

3)The answer you got from your "friend" is completely innacurate and indeed ridiculous. The countries are chosen by the candidates themselves either because they are from there or, if already taken, because they have some sort of family tie or affinity for that country.

4) What is fashionable about Venezuela... How about YOU think big: Ever heard of Carolina Herrera? nough said!

5) Please read The MVW casting card. The pageant is indeed opened to every female avatar on the grid. Nowhere does it say the applicant needs to be a model.

6) The MVW competition is judged on several criteria. a) Modeling skills b) Ability to style c) Overall look and d) Personality and social skills.

So I am not sure why you keep comparing this competition with RL competitions. Miss Virtual World has its own parameters and modeling is certainly one of them.

7) About poses and looks, sometimes we agree with you and sometimes we don't. But thank you for your input.

MVW orgUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03892493940495453891noreply@blogger.com
